We retained Genise to help design the interiors for a 5.800 sf house in Lincoln. Genise was excellent to work with. She listened and understood the style of home that my wife and I were trying to achive and even made our ideas a fews levels better. She worked very well in managing the contractors to ensure that the design goals were carried thru to the completed house. When guests came over, they always commented on how the nicely the house turned out. We were were happy with the results. I would heartilty recommend (and have) her to my friends and also would use her again for our next house.

Genise helped me get my first home together. After years of moving including 3 years living and working in Asia, I purchased my first home - a 3 bedroom townhouse. I had collected various pieces of furniture and artwork over the years. Genise helped me get all my artwork framed. When we built our home, we thought we could handle it all ourselves. After many meetings, our builder suggested proffesional help. Genise Plessas Designs was one of the best decisions we made. She worked with us and the contractors to make sure our home was perfect. She made sugestions from were the bathroom equipment should be, to the colors on the walls. When we couldn't find the right color for the wood stain, she created a custom color that was wonderful. Every step of the project was handled with her full attention. Genise has an excellent eye for color and how it relates to the natural lighting in the room/space. She selected all the paint colors for the interior of our house and I am still getting compliments to this day. The lighting fixtures and window dressings she helped me pick out are beautiful and the furniture she helped us pick out was a perfect fit for our older home with size constraints.
